Collaboration between NetApp and Mirantis has entered a new phase, making it easier than ever for customers to benefit from using NetApp state of the art enterprise storage with Mirantis OpenStack clouds.
NetApp and Mirantis are now officially bi-directional alliance partners. As part of this relationship, we’re working to improve integration of Mirantis OpenStack with the widest possible range of NetApp’s leading-edge storage technologies, and to make it easier for cloud builders to use our solutions to create robust, production-scale clouds. Current activities include:
- Production of joint reference architectures to promote best practices for using NetApp storage on OpenStack
- Integration and validation of NetApp drivers with Mirantis OpenStack
- Inclusion of NetApp storage as a Fuel plugin, enabling quick deployment of Mirantis OpenStack clusters with NetApp support enabled
- Establishment of enterprise-level joint support, and other projects.
